Threads is part of Nadeen Baba's Intertwined collection, which explores the spiritual journey of human experience — how we are shaped over time by the connections we form with others.

In this painting, bold sweeping lines in blue, red, yellow, and black arc and cross over a warm rose and amber ground. The lines don't follow a single path — they loop back, intersect, and pull in different directions, then cascade downward together. It's a visual record of the way relationships move through us: sometimes tangled, sometimes parallel, always leaving a mark.

Each mark in Threads is gestural and immediate — made in the moment, layered over what came before. The result is a painting that feels simultaneously chaotic and alive, the way a life shaped by many connections often does.
