Tethered is part of Nadeen Baba's Intertwined collection, which explores the spiritual journey of human experience — how we are shaped over time by the connections we form with others.

Against a deep amber ground, a single continuous black line loops, coils, and doubles back on itself across the entire canvas. The stroke is bold and deliberate — fluid enough to feel alive, heavy enough to feel permanent. It doesn't break. It just keeps moving, folding into itself, connected at every point.

The title says it plainly. These are the ties that hold — the relationships and experiences we can't fully separate ourselves from, nor would want to. The painting sits somewhere between constraint and continuity, between being bound and being grounded.
